The School Board is an advisory and review body with respect to St. Matthew Cathedral School operating under the rector of St. Matthew Cathedral.  The board serves as a forum for the open discussion of policies, plans, and problems in all areas of Catholic education.

Board meetings are open meetings, except when an executive session is called, and are ordinarily held monthly.  Agenda items and requests to speak should be submitted to the board president at least seven days before a scheduled meeting.  Two new board members are elected annually.
